The Dimoldura Group reveals its new philosophy of working with distributors of its business conglomerate at Fimma-Maderalia

“Our main aim is not to sell products, but for our customers to generate business so we can grow together”

It presented an online sales platform, exclusively for distributors, with an express direct delivery service in a maximum of seven days

The Dimoldura Group, Spain’s leading company in the manufacture of doors and mouldings, has participated in the 38th Fimma-Maderalia trade fair, which was held last week at the Feria Valencia, welcoming many visitors. This event is one of the most important dates in the diary of professionals in the wood, carpentry and decorating sector. Some 487 exhibitors showed their wares over 58,000 m2 of exhibition space that received almost 36,000 professional visitors and more than 2,000 foreign visitors. According to the trade fair’s organisers, this data suggests that the market is again on the rise for a sector that is coming back to life economically.

The Dimoldura Group received a steady stream of Spanish and international visitors to its stand, with whom they exchanged opinions and analysed news on products and services. In addition, the company took advantage of the business meeting to present its new catalogue with its series of laminate doors for 2018 and a package of commercial support consisting of the development, design and printing of personalised brochures at no cost to its distributors. And new for this year, Dimoldura presented its new online sales platform, exclusively for distributors, with an express direct door-to-door delivery service to its customers in a maximum of seven working days.

Good internal organisation, product lines well defined by factories, high levels of quality and a product range adapted to demand

Dimoldura’s aim at this trade fair was to become known as a group of companies that work together to meet the needs of their customers. “The rapid growth and the incorporation of our factories with recognised brands in the sector has meant that we have to neatly work together and adapt our corporate image and commercial strategy in a short space of time,” said company representatives.

At present, and as a result of these efforts, Dimoldura already has good internal organisation, product lines well defined by factories, high levels of quality in the manufacturing process and a product range adapted to current and future demand. “With these factors as our base, we can focus on our philosophy of working together with customers, offering not only products and services, but also added value with support in the marketing and communication areas, and placing sales tools at their fingertips. Our main aim is not to sell products, but for our customers to generate business so we can grow together,” they explain.

Dimoldura was founded in 1996 as a manufacturer specialising in mouldings, although its owners already had a presence in the sector long before. In just a few years, it expanded its product catalogue and introduced doors, thanks to the acquisition of Puertas Carsal (Etxarren Arakil, Navarre) in 2014, Portadeza (Lalín, Pontevedra) in 2015 and Puertas Dimara (Quintanar de la Orden, Toledo) in 2017, forming the Dimoldura Group.
